Nyambura Kiarie is an international associate in our corporate and securities practice. Nyambura received a Master of Laws degree in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Nyambura previously earned a Master of Public Policy in Economic Policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany. Nyambura received her law degree from the University of Manchester in Manchester, United Kingdom, including a study abroad semester at Singapore Management University in Singapore.
Nyambura is an attorney licensed to practice in the United Kingdom and was a law trainee with CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP in London prior to joining Schwartz LLC. Her experience at CMS Cameron McKenna includes a wide variety of project finance, acquisitions, corporate finance, lending, wind energy and venture capital transactions.
Prior to working at CMS Cameron McKenna in London, Nyambura was a policy and compliance fellow at General Electric in Washington, D.C., and has also held positions at WomenCraft in Ngara, Tanzania, the German Institute of Economic Research (DIW) in Berlin, Germany and Transparency International, in Nairobi, Kenya
Nyambura is fluent in English, Swahili, and Kikuyu, and is also conversant in French (Beginner). Nyambura is also a competitive swimmer, an accomplished pianist, and a soprano singer.
