Julius Estur
Associate
Julius Estur is an Associate in our corporate practice and is a successful lawyer in his home country of the Philippines, serving as Managing Lawyer of Estur and Associates Law Firm in Makati City.
Julius earned his LL.M. from Columbia Law School in NYC, where he was awarded the Parker School of Foreign and Comparative Law Certificate of Academic Achievement and Excellence for International and Comparative Studies. During his time at Columbia, he also served as the official representative to the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) for two different UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) working groups, focusing on Electronic Commerce and Insolvency Law, respectively. He received his J.D. from San Beda University College of Law, where he achieved Dean’s List. He also participated in various legal organizations on campus and served on the Editorial Board of San Beda Law Journal.
In addition to his academic background, Julius Estur has worked for major companies such as TMF Philippines, providing legal guidance for the Filipino branch of global administrative services provider TMF. He also served on the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board in Quezon City, Philippines, and worked as a Tax Advisory Associate for Punongbayan and Araullo Audit Firm, assisting client companies with their taxes.
At Estur and Associates where he is Managing Lawyer, he has been retained as legal counsel by different film and TV production companies, artist agencies, actors, business process and outsourcing companies, manufacturing, wholesale, and retail trading industries. He has assisted in negotiating corporate reorganizations, land titles and deeds, labor standards and relations, immigration laws, and corporate governance.
Additionally, he was the Head of the Legal and Compliance Department at W-Tech Solutions Inc. and recently worked in a major role as a highly technical Consultant for the Philippines National Privacy Commission, acting as a legal and technical advisor for the Office of the Executive Director.
