Carlos Arroyo is an independent international counsel to our firm, focusing on tax, tax compliance, corporate and securities matters.

Carlos is a graduate of Cardozo School of Law, where he was awarded the Master of Laws (LL.M.). He also graduated with a double Master of Laws from ESADE, in Barcelona, Spain, where he specialized in Tax Consultancy and Tax Management. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain with two minors in Anglo-American Law and International Business Law.

Carlos has experience in tax planning and tax compliance as well as banking and financial institutions, as he was part of Agrolimen’s tax team in Barcelona and completed an internship at Scotiabank with the treasury and OTC (Over the Counter) markets team. Carlos also has prior experience in dispute resolution as a legal extern for the Community Mediation Services of New York and as a paralegal for the Public Defense Department of the Dominican Republic.
