Neeyati Ghanwat is a law clerk in our corporate practice.

Neeyati earned her LL.M. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she focused on corporate and business law subjects and engaged actively in academic and community initiatives during her time in Chicago. She received her undergraduate law degree (B.A. LL.B.) from Ajeenkya DY Patil University in Maharashtra, India, where she built a foundation in legal research, drafting, and advocacy through both coursework and extracurricular legal activities.

In addition to her academic training, Neeyati has interned in diverse practice settings, where she gained exposure to criminal justice matters, document drafting, and notarial work. These experiences allowed her to strengthen her research, case analysis, and practical drafting skills while learning directly under the guidance of senior advocates.

Demonstrating her passion for legal writing and knowledge-sharing, Neeyati founded Legal Swamp, a platform dedicated to publishing articles, case summaries, and practical legal insights. Through this initiative, she has consistently produced thoughtful content that reflects both her analytical skills and her commitment to making complex legal topics more accessible to students and practitioners.

Alongside her legal work, Neeyati actively supports animal welfare causes and incorporates her passion for ethical advocacy into both her professional and personal life.

Neeyati passed the Indian State Bar Examination in 2024 and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
