Carl Attieh is an international lawyer and New York-admitted attorney. He currently serves as Of Counsel to Schwartz while being affiliated with Attieh & Chebli.

Carl is deeply committed to legal scholarship and academic excellence. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne), where his research focuses on Investment Arbitration Contracts, in addition to holding a:

• Master of Laws (LL.M.), New York University (NYU) with a focus on: Technology and Intellectual Property Law

• Master of Laws (D.E.A.), Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) with a focus on Contracts and International Law

• Master of Laws (D.E.S.S.), Lebanese University (UL) with a focus on Litigation, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) with a specialization in Business Law

With professional experience accumulated across several jurisdictions—including Houston, Washington, D.C., and Beirut—Carl has developed a versatile practice. His experience includes conducting high-level legal research, managing international commercial transactions, and navigating corporate law. His comprehensive expertise spans American, European, and Arab legal systems, allowing him to navigate cross-border matters, and bringing a sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional perspective to his legal work.

Carl is admitted to practice in New York and is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
